The EC registration has six (6) more days to go, and the queues are gradually ebbing. The NPP thugs have less work to do, though the military and police presence in the volta region and Oti have suddenly doubled.
With all these, the defiance is great. The hardships are real. If the rains couldn’t stop the registration process, the dedication of guarantors for new registrants, and many more, could only make me say that no one can abort the journey of change. Change will happen
The Electoral Commission has a track record of announcing election results seven ( 7) times within two (2) days. They are entrenching their record by pulling down their own registration figures on a daily basis. It has always taken the NDC to alert them of these errors. What may be the reason?
*This reminds me of a thief who will never fight you when you catch him, but will simply say, take back your item “gye w’ade3″*
Never underestimate the errors of the EC. It has the capability of resurrecting missing BVDs.
The EC’s serial misconduct is the reason we need loyal, competent, and credible polling agents.
It is not how long you have been a polling agent. It is the smartness to address their misconduct. It is not the machoism, but how meticulous one can be.
The first place to avert any rigging scheme is the polling station, and that is the surest way to protect the ballot.
Comrades, let’s allow the NDC Elections Directorate to re-visit and re-prioritize the selection of our polling agents. It can not be business as usual. We have a duty to rescue Ghana together.
So far, it’s been good. Let’s keep hope alive for better days ahead.
