The company, a wholly Ghanaian one are producers and suppliers of workplace hygiene products, toilet rolls, hand soap, sanitizers, hand paper towels, jumbo toilet rolls is in the Central Region, Kasoa Odupong.
Addressing the media, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) , Mr. Robert Owusu Ansah encourage Ghanaians to patronize locally manufactured goods
because purchasing of the products alone made help to create, jobs, wealth and stabilize the currency.
Mr. Owusu Ansah indicated that, the Odo Tissue is of high quality, attractive package and affordable.
He emphasized that when it comes to tax, it is the responsibility of every citizen, companies to pay in other to be used by the Government to develop the nation however, he edged government review its tax regime on import duties on raw materials to enable Ghanaian companies become competitive locally and globally.
He also further pleaded with the Government to as a matter of urgency, fixed their road so that, people can come and buy their products adding that, bad roads hinders their operations.
On the issue of product differentiation between Odo Tissue and others. Mr. Owusu Ansah said, the Odo Tissue has a variety of products including ODO TAKE AWAY for the general market, Premium which is with high quality, and TOILET Rolls .
Talking about job creation, Mr. Ansah revealed that the company have given direct employment to about 50 people and indirect jobs.
This he indicated, is part of their effort to assist in reducing the unemployment situation in the country.
Meanwhile, Chiefs in his operational area have pledged their commitment to release more lands in their respective jurisdictions to the company so that, they can also benefit from the factory including employment opportunities.
