President of Save the Nation for Future Leaders, a non-governmental organisation (NGO), Mr Kwadwo Atta Apeakorang,
advocating for justice, fairness, equality, and environmental protection, has issued a strong warning to Ghanaians ahead of the December 7th general elections. In a statement, he urged citizens to unite and vote against the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) government, citing various grievances and potential dangers to the nation’s future.
He cited several pressing issues affecting the nation under the current NPP government.
Among the issues were the allegations of intimidation and violence reportedly used by individuals in positions of power to seize lands and properties from citizens. He highlighted the widespread destruction of water bodies and lands under the NPP’s governance as a critical issue, describing it as a threat to the environment and livelihoods of Ghanaians.
“The destruction of our natural resources and the unlawful seizing of citizens’ properties paint a grim picture of our future under this government,” Frank stated. “If Ghanaians truly want the best for their country, they must rise and make their voices heard by voting for change in this election.”
He further warned that the continuation of the current administration could lead to civil unrest in the country. “The path we are treading as a nation is dangerous. If the NPP remains in power, I fear it could spark a civil war,” Frank cautioned.
Seed Division for Future Leaders, under Frank’s leadership, has been at the forefront of advocating for equality, justice, and sustainable environmental practices. The organization has consistently raised concerns about governance issues and their impact on Ghana’s socio-political and ecological stability.
Frank’s call to action is expected to stir significant discourse among voters as the country approaches its pivotal elections. Ghanaians are urged to reflect on the nation’s trajectory and make decisions that will ensure peace, prosperity, and the preservation of the country’s resources.
As the election date draws closer, tensions remain high, and the stakes for Ghana’s future continue to escalate.
