The Chief Executive Officer of the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH), Dr. Paa Kwesi Baidoo, has made a personal donation of assorted food items to Muslim workers of the hospital to support them during the holy month of Ramadan.
The gesture, aimed at boosting the morale of the Muslim staff and supporting them on their spiritual journey during the fasting period, was warmly received by members of the Muslim community within the hospital.

The items, valued at approximately GH¢20,000, included bags of rice, cartons of milk, packs of cube sugar, boxes of Milo, packs of biscuits, and other food supplies to assist the workers as they observe the month-long fast.
The donation is reportedly the first of its kind by a Chief Executive Officer of the hospital, making it a pleasant surprise to the Muslim workers. https://www.ghanaweb.com/
Dr. Baidoo explained that his gesture was inspired by his belief in sharing with others and supporting colleagues without expecting anything in return. According to him, his only request from the Muslim staff is that they continue to pray for the hospital, its workers, and the continued progress of the facility.
Receiving the items on behalf of the Muslim workers, the Chief Imam of Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital, Imam Ibrahim Bawa, expressed profound gratitude to the CEO for the thoughtful gesture.
He prayed for Allah’s blessings, long life, and good health for Dr. Baidoo and his family, while also wishing him success in all his endeavours.
Imam Bawa further called on other individuals and institutions to emulate the generosity shown by Dr. Baidoo, noting that acts of kindness and compassion are always rewarded.
He assured the hospital management that the Muslim workers would continue to work diligently while also offering prayers for the growth, peace, and success of the hospital.
