The GhanaMade Expo is positioning itself as a consistent, weekend buying destination that brings together verified Ghanaian brands under one roof, making it easier for consumers to access genuine local products while supporting small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), artisans, and emerging businesses.
Scheduled to take place every Saturday at a fixed venue, the Expo offers a curated marketplace where shoppers can confidently explore and purchase Ghana-made goods in a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere. Organisers say the initiative is designed to simplify access to quality local products and encourage a culture of pride in made-in-Ghana items.
The Expo is open to a wide range of audiences, including families seeking dependable quality at fair prices, professionals in search of thoughtful gift items, and visitors looking for a convenient one-stop shopping experience. It also serves as a bridge to the Ghanaian diaspora, providing an avenue for Ghanaians living abroad to connect with authentic local products for personal use, events, retail shelves, or as meaningful gifts for loved ones at home.
Each edition of the GhanaMade Expo will feature rotating product highlights, tastings, live demonstrations, and direct engagement between customers and producers. Exhibiting businesses will also benefit from practical support aimed at improving presentation, packaging, product information, and overall buyer experience.
“We want people to shop with confidence, to meet the makers, see the quality for themselves, and take pride in choosing Ghana-made,” said Dr. Courage Komla Besah-Adanu, Lead Consultant at AGRIVIMS Ghana.
The GhanaMade Expo will be held every Saturday from 10:00 a.m. at the CSIR–Food Research Institute Compound, near the Ghana Standards Authority, Shiashie, Accra. Entry is free for all consumers and buyers.
Products on display will include Ghana-made foods and agro-products, wellness and beauty items, fashion and textiles, crafts, home essentials, and innovative locally developed products.
