Dr. Samuel Ofosu-Ampofo, Political Advisor to the Vice President, Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang, marked his birthday with a thanksgiving service at The Church of Pentecost in Akyem Adukrom.

The service was characterized by heartfelt expressions of gratitude and appreciation to God for the gift of life, protection, and His abundant grace and mercies.

Dr. Ofosu-Ampofo was joined by a strong delegation of dignitaries and political leaders who gathered to celebrate and thank God with him. Among them were the Eastern Regional Minister, Rita Akosua Adjei Awatey; the Mayor of the New Juaben South Metropolitan Assembly; the Municipal and District Chief Executives for Abuakwa North and Abuakwa South; the Deputy Chief Executive Officers of the Tema Shipyard and Drydock Company and the Students Loan Trust Fund; as well as regional, constituency, and branch executives of the National Democratic Congress.

To crown the celebration, Dr. Ofosu-Ampofo donated a set of musical instruments to the Adukrom Assembly of the Church to support worship activities and enhance the church’s music ministry.

Receiving the donation on behalf of the congregation, the Area Head expressed profound appreciation to Dr. Ofosu-Ampofo for the generous gesture and prayed for God’s continued blessings, long life, and protection for him and generations yet unborn.

The Presiding Elder also acknowledged Dr. Ofosu-Ampofo’s determination to serve his Maker and his enormous contributions toward the growth and sustainability of the church over the years. He further encouraged believers to remain committed to the work of God and make the service of the Lord a priority in their lives.

Speaking at the service, Dr. Ofosu-Ampofo reaffirmed his strong Christian faith, noting that his life has been guided by the message of Psalm 23, which speaks of God’s goodness, protection, and guidance.

“I am a testament to the strategic role the church plays in shaping lives and strengthening society,” he said, adding that the donation was also inspired by the spirit of repentance and devotion reflected in Psalm 51.

The thanksgiving service ended with prayers and well wishes from the congregation as they celebrated the life, faith, and service of Dr. Ofosu-Ampofo.
