The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has issued a resounding call for cohesion and collective resolve behind Hon. Richard Gyan Mensah, Member of Parliament for Gomoa West and Deputy Minister for Energy, as the party sets its sights on consolidating its electoral dominance in the constituency.

In a Communique underscoring the strategic importance of Gomoa West, party leadership emphasized that sustained unity, disciplined mobilization, and an unwavering commitment to the MP’s development agenda are pivotal to securing another decisive victory in 2028.

Hon. Gyan Mensah, who doubles as Deputy Energy Minister, has been lauded for his exemplary stewardship in both legislative and executive capacities. His tenure has been marked by robust infrastructure projects, youth empowerment initiatives, and targeted interventions in education, health, and rural electrification across Gomoa West.

“Gomoa West has become a beacon of what purposeful representation can achieve. To sustain this trajectory, we must rally solidly behind Hon. Richard Gyan Mensah,” a senior regional executive stated.

“Division is a luxury we cannot afford if we are to preserve the gains and expand our mandate.”

The party has directed constituency, branch, and ward executives to intensify grassroots engagement, reconcile differences, and project a singular front in support of the MP’s vision for accelerated development.

Political observers note that Gomoa West remains a critical battleground in the Central Region, and the NDC’s emphasis on internal solidarity reflects a deliberate strategy to neutralize opposition inroads and fortify the party’s stronghold.

With Hon. Gyan Mensah’s dual role in Parliament and at the Energy Ministry, the NDC believes the constituency is uniquely positioned to attract strategic government investment and policy interventions that directly uplift livelihoods.

As the 2028 electoral cycle approaches, the call for unity serves as both a rallying cry and a strategic imperative one the NDC argues will transform goodwill into ballots and ensure Gomoa West remains firmly within the party’s fold.
