Prince John Evans Escobar-Donkor, former Assembly Member for the Pataboso Electoral Area and currently the Senior Community Relations Officer at Asante Gold Bibiani Ltd, has supported the people of Debiso in the Bibiani-Anhwiaso-Bekwai Municipality with building materials valued at GH¢12,000 to assist in renovating the community’s deteriorating primary school.
The donation, aimed at improving the learning environment for pupils, comprised eight (8) packets of roofing sheets and thirty (30) bags of cement. The intervention is expected to help restore the school building, which has been in a deplorable state, and provide a safer and more conducive atmosphere for teaching and learning.
Receiving the items on behalf of the school and the community were Mr. Oduro Atta Ben, Headmaster of Debiso M/A JHS, and Mr. Aikins Gyam, Asafoakyɛ of the Debiso community.
Community members expressed appreciation to Mr. Escobar-Donkor for the timely support, noting that the gesture will significantly contribute to improving educational conditions for pupils in the area and strengthen community efforts to upgrade the school’s infrastructure.
