Nii Ashong Kojo III, Chief, Head, and Lawful Representative of Nii Amoah OKromansah family of Amlahia in the Greater Accra Region, has called on persons who want to purchase land in the area to desist from dealing with Ashrifi Mensah, an alleged self-styled Chief of Amlahia.
He warned that, if anyone has given money to him to buy land in Amlahia then, such person or persons have thrown their money away.

According to Nii Ashong Kojo III, he is the rightful and legitimate Chief of Amlahia who can do proper land documents to any individual or institution who is desirous of buying land in the area.

He disclosed that Ashrifi Mensah had been selling land indiscriminately in the area to unsuspecting and gullible individuals with his (Nii Ashong Kojo) name and forged signature.
Ashrifi Mensah and Ashiyie Rambow according to the Chief of Amlahia, were recently arrested by the police for doing forged land documents bearing his name and signature and that of Louisa Mensah.
The police, he further explained, invited him and took his statement, and upon extensive investigation including a forensic audit of the land documents, it came to light that the land documents and his signature were forged and he (the Chief) was eventually exonerated.
The forged land documentation and signature matter, Nii Ashong Kojo III added, was also heard at a district court at Adenta and after the presiding Judge, Justice Ametor had perused the facts of the matter before him, he(Nii Ashong Kojo III) was once again exonerated of any wrongdoing.
The Chief of Amlahia has also accused Moses Abor, who recently contested Hon. Henry Quartey in the NPP’s Ayawaso Central Parliamentary election and lost for allegedly selling land in the area to do party politics.
Nii Ashong Kojo III, is the Chief, Head, and Lawful Representative of Nii Amoah OKromansah family of Amlahia of Accra and was installed as Chief of Amlahia on 17th July 1980 by Nii Amoah, a prominent elder of the area.
