EPHC to give solution to persons with prostrate cancer

The Executive Prostrate and Herbal Center (EPHC) has assured to give relief and joy to patients currently suffering from prostrate cancer and other related illness.

This was made known during a launch of the Executive Prostrate and Herbal Center (EPHC) facility at East Legon in Accra.

The facility which serve a solution Centre for alternative medicine especially for people suffering from prostrate enlargement and other cancer related diseases is a master-class edifice to fight fight prostrate cancer.

Speaking at the launch, the Chief Executive Officer of EPHC, Dr. Intifada Takyi said the Centre was develop to help advance herbal medicine in the area of prostrate care and general health related issues.

Dr Takyi said the Executive Prostrate and Herbal Centre is an offshoot of GANAHERB THERAPEUTICS, a leading producer of Ghana Bam, Peostajoy, Sav500, Ganaman and Krepto400 which has been the market leader.

He revealed that their products have satisfied World Health Organizations stand of safety, quality, efficacy and affordability and meet the requirements set up by the various regulatory bodies in Ghana such as FDA, Noguchi and host of others.

“Base on demands by our customers over the period has led to the establishment of this Centre where many of them come for diagnoses and treatment,” he stated

The facility is equipped with consulting rooms, an ultramodern laboratory, ultrasound department, a well-stocked dispensary, an OPD, administrative offices and an IT desk

EPHC is duly registered with the Registered General Department and other regulatory bodies and is open to OPD cases with specialities in in prostrate disease, cancers, tumours, STDs, infertility, fibroid, diabetes, hypertension, lifestyle and dietary counseling.

The Centre located around UPSA has dedicated staff including one medical officer, four medical herbalist, three medical laboratory scientists, four nurses, one sonography, one administrator, two IT officers and five general workers

The Guest speaker for the occassion who also doubles as the Director for Traditional Medicine at the Health Directorate, Dr, Anastasia Yirenkyi indicated that Prostrate enlargement is common among men adding that 80% of men between the ages 35 years going stand the risk of prostrate cancer.

Dr. Yirenkyi said Ghana has lost it heritage in terms of herbal medicine because in the past, Ghanaian were champions of alternative medicine but as the time grow, “we were made to believe that the orthodox one was superior.

“What I want to say is that all is not lost because the government itself is working around the clock to ensure that traditional medicine become our priority.”

She, therefore, charge men to take advantage of the alternative medicine been serve by Executive Prostrate and Herbal Centre to fight their prostrate diseases.

The Brand Ambassador for the center, Master Richard of Taxi Driver fame called on Ghanaians not to give up on the fight against prostrate cancer.

“We will not allow prostrate cancer to kill us again because EPHC has come to proffer solutions to all our prostrate diseases,” Master Richard stated.
