It’s exactly a year today 13th May, 2023, when the NDC as a party went polls and elected their Parliamentary Candidates, which Pru East wasn’t excluded.
Pru East Constituency witnessed the undisputable fact that, the youngest politician Hon. Emmanuel Kwaku Boam(LORD BOAM) won the election with 474 votes, which led to cheerful moment when thousands of people paraded on the streets of Yeji and celebrated his victory.
As a Parliamentary Candidate,Hon Emmanuel Kwaku Boam carried out his duties as the PC right after his victory, he went round to thanked everyone and also called for peace, unity and togetherness within the party in the constituency.

*ACHIEVEMENTS*
Right after taking over the PC in the party, he went to the leadership of the great NDC and presented himself to them and they also presented him to the party hierarchy. He again went round the constituency to present himself again to the various traditional leaders, community leaders, Imams and various church leaders through his visitations, he took the opportunity to call on all and sundry to unite and work together for victory, and also listened to the grievances of the people for redress.
He encounter as serious disaster that occurred in the constituency, as a heavy floods displaced communities along the Volta Lake after the spillage of dams last year but he stood on his grounds as a leader and made significant contributions towards that, he also made series of contributions in diverse ways as expected of him.
We can mention some of his contribution in terms of education, health, infrastructure contributions, agricultural contributions,and more importantly making the great NDC most attractive in the constituency.
*THE FUTURE*
Lord Boam is poised to developing Pru East with many interventions that will serve in benevolence. On 7th December, 2024. Your vote will take him to Parliament to represent you and the good people of Pru East Constituency, so he can take part in major decision making. He’s your agent of development, he will serve as your intermediary to the Government. Boam’s dreams will come through when you vote massively for him and John Dramani Mahama on the 7th December,2024 to make him your MP. Let’s use the opportunity to get our names into the voter register as the EC is writing names of individuals who had attained 18years and those not having the ID-Cards.
