Youth activist and a social commentator, Ivan Kyei Innocent has reacted to the recent claims by the Attorney General that the disgraced former minister of Sanitation, Madam Cecelia Abena Dapaah has been cleared of all wrong doing following the OSP investigative report submitted to EOCO for further action, a claim which director of research at the office of the special prosecutor has vehemently rejected.

Speaking on the matter on a live facebook session streamed via his Personal Facebook Page Ivan Kyei Innocent 1, Mr Kyei revealed that, what President Akuffo Addo has demonstrated over the years is a clear indication he’s never committed to the fight against corruption.

Ivan Kyei enumerated a number of cases involving high profile individuals under the current regime who have escaped the accountability and the rod of justice because the president cleared them without any investigation. “If you would remember, I told you this Cecilia Dapaa issue wouldn’t get anywhere, but I wasn’t expecting the matter to be killed in this foolish and embarrassing fashion,” “President Akuffo Addo’s preliminary comments when the issue first broke out gave a hint that, the celebrated clearing agent would come to work, and indeed, here we are”.

Mr Kyei admonished Ghanaians to ignore anything the president says, and stated that whoever believes Akuffo Addo is fighting corruption must be dreaming, and asserted that President Akuffo Addo’s quest to fight corruption was a joke from the start. “How do you expect a president who is so much entangled in the issues of dirty money and collusion, a man who has set up a family empire under his government fight corruption ? He questioned ! “the entire setup is a crime scene with a lot of criminals liberated to amass wealth in whatever shape and former, the reason Ghana is locked up in this hell hole in the last 7 years”

Ivan again took on the vice president who according to him has been gallivanting around rooting to be elected president. According to him, if politics, governance and leadership were to be a serious business as seen elsewhere, Bawumia wouldn’t have the moral courage to make these pronouncement of wanting to be president, “it’s a shame, this is a guy with zero credibility, same as his grand master, the president, they only care for the cash flow, nothing else”, he revealed.
