The Abuakwa South Constituency Organizer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Mr. Anim Obed Ansah, widely known as Sir Obed, has directed a critical jab at Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.

Sir Obed’s critique comes as a response to Dr. Bawumia’s recent comments on Former President John Dramani Mahama’s much-discussed 24-Hour Economy policy proposal.

According to him, Vice president Bawumia has lost his credibility entirely and should be using this time to redeem his lost credibility instead of launching attacks on the policies championed by John Dramani Mahama and the NDC.

In a short interview with InsiderGH.com, Sir Obed articulated his concerns over Dr. Bawumia’s inability to give Ghanaians a single policy proposal as to what he intends to do in the unlikely event of his Presidency.

Sir Obed asserted that Dr. Bawumia, in his role as Vice President, had made a plethora of promises to the Ghanaian people, only to fall short in delivering on all those commitments.

The Abuakwa South constituency organizer of the NDC further highlighted a perceived pattern of unfulfilled promises, tarnishing Bawumia’s reputation and eroding the trust of the Ghanaian populace.

According to him, the crux of his argument is that the Vice President’s credibility deficit should take precedence over his political attacks.

He also seized the opportunity to urge Dr. Bawumia to redirect his focus towards restoring the trust of the people by delivering on his numerous promises first and addressing concerns that have contributed to his credibility challenges, before attempting to attack the good policies of Former President John Dramami Mahama.
