*If not destroyed, these ballot papers can be used to rig the election in favour of the NPP.*
*Re-Balloting will cure the mischief because the positions of the various parties will change and any of the printed ballot papers can no longer be used.*
The scrutiny of the Ghana Freedom Party’s documents and if it met the qualification criteria for a Political Party is an imperative;
The scrutiny of the GFP forms and qualification of their new Presidential Candidate must meet the Constitutional bar and the approval of other disqualified Presidential Candidates especially the PNC and PPP Flagbearers.
Especially after the acrimonous disqualification of the PNC and PPP as well as Madam Akua Donkor’s IPAC threat to sue because she believed that her party’s credibility had been challenged.
*Does the GFP have the required number of offices and officers across the country to qualify as a Political Party?*
Does the GFP have a properly audited account?
The GFP will require a newly signed document endorsing the replacement Presidential Candidate as the earlier documents were signed in respect of a specific person, Madam Akua Donkor, which is not transferable.
The Re-Balloting, printing of new Notice of Polls and Ballot Papers is non-negotiable and cannot be circumvented because the EC or the NPP wants to maintain the number 1 position.
*No Political is entitled to a particular position on the Ballot Paper under the current circumstance.*
_All Political Parties are only entitled to their Party Logos or Symbols._
Cancellation, printing-over or blacking out the GFP’s number 3 position on the Ballot Paper so the old Balloting, Notice of Polls and Ballot Papers can be used is untenable.
Any mark or ink resulting from the above will amount to defacing the Ballot paper and will automatically result in spoilt ballots.
*There is enough time to conduct a Re-Balloting (1day) and printing of new Notice of Polls and Ballot Papers.*
The cost beyond money, is more than compensated for by the value of peace, avoiding spoilt ballots and above all rigging of any kind including selectivity or favoritism in position of any Presidential Candidate(s) being guaranteed over others.
*The destruction of the Ballot Papers and Notice of Polls including the plates used in printing must be publicly done.*
This is necessary as the Electoral Commission is full of NPP surrogates appointed by Akufo Addo to help the NPP win the 2024 election which they dubbed Breaking the Eight.
Ghanaians must be Citizens and not Spectators.
