At a community gathering in Wechiau, within the Wa West constituency, Naa Imoro Nandom Gomah II and his people reaffirmed their unwavering support for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and its candidate ahead of the December 7th general elections. The endorsement, given by the traditional leader and his people, signals strong backing for the NDC’s vision of addressing the key concerns of Ghanaians.

Speaking to the people, the NDC candidate acknowledged the significant challenges facing the nation, with particular emphasis on the weak economy and rising unemployment. He assured the gathering that his government is well aware of these hardships and outlined plans to address them swiftly.

He emphasized that within the first 120 days of his administration, a series of transition measures would be implemented to stabilize the economy. These efforts aim to halt the sharp rise in the prices of essential goods, improve the standard of living, and create jobs across multiple sectors. Among the key initiatives highlighted were the introduction of a 24-hour economy, the “One Million Coders” program, and other large-scale projects like the Adwumawura, Big Push, FEED Ghana, and National Apprenticeship Programmes.

These initiatives, he noted, will ensure the creation of jobs, particularly for the youth, while fostering national development and economic growth. The community’s show of support underscores their confidence in the NDC’s plan to reset Ghana’s economy and bring relief to struggling citizens.
