Apostle Dr. Stephen Kwame Ntow Amoani, a revered figure in the Christ Apostolic Church International (CAC), is set to receive a special recognition at the upcoming Majestic Praise Awards for his unique leadership and extraordinary contributions to the gospel.
This honor comes as a tribute to his selfless dedication, hard work, and a life of exemplary service that continues to inspire many.
Born on May 15, 1962, in Aburi, Akropong, Koforidua, Stephen Ntow Amoani’s journey in ministry began with an extraordinary encounter at the age of 21 with Apostle Peter Newman Anim, the first chairman and founder of CAC.
Despite his reluctance to meet the founder due to academic commitments, Amoani’s life took a profound turn after the meeting. For 45 minutes, he sat on Apostle Anim’s lap, an experience that left him bewildered at the time but later proved to be a moment of divine impartation.
This encounter set the course for his spiritual transformation, leading him towards a life devoted to ministry.
Over the years, Apostle Dr. Amoani has served in various capacities within the church, starting as a relieving officer in Nsawam in 1987. He went on to serve as a District Pastor in Adukrom and Suhum, and later became the Acting Regional Missionary Pastor in Tamale.
His ministry continued to flourish as he took up positions in Akim Oda, Kumasi Kwadaso, and Sunyani, where he also served as the Christian Education Director and Territorial Apostle.
His leadership excellence was recognized when he was elected as the Chairman of CAC, a position he held from 2007 to 2019, making him the youngest and longest-serving chairman in the church’s history.
In addition to his pastoral duties, Apostle Dr. Amoani is a renowned lecturer, author, marriage counselor, and motivational speaker. His academic achievements include a Bachelor of Theology, a Master of Theology, and a Doctorate in Philosophy in Integrated Mission, Theology, and Church Administration from North Western Christian University in Florida, U.S.A. He also served as the Chancellor of the Christ Apostolic University College in Kumasi.
The Majestic Praise Awards will not only celebrate his contributions to the gospel but also honor his legacy as a leader who has touched countless lives. His exemplary life, marked by humility, dedication, and unwavering faith, continues to be a beacon of hope and inspiration for generations to come.
