Hon. Gizella Tetteh-Agbotui, the Member of Parliament for Awutu Senya West, was not involved in a walkout on the Vice President, Chiefs, and the good people during the Awubia Festival.

The MP sought permission to leave after her speech at the grand durbar to attend to other equally important engagements. However, she awaited the arrival of the Veep and his entourage and greeted them accordingly.

She was praised and hailed by the crowd for her excellent community centered caring work in the Constituency, which included AsumiApa skills training, free general surgeries and health infrastructure interventions, educational scholarships and support, water supply, annual reshaping of roads in the communities and more. She also outlined her vision and that of the NDC for her next term when given the mandate especially in the education sector with a Nurses training college, dormitory blocks for 3 of the SHS and additional Basic school blocks. She indicated support for economic boosters like the Bawjiase market, priority road constructions, and the Women’s bank.

The good people of Awutu Senya West need their fair share of national resources to improve lives, not fake stories masquerading as developmental projects. The people of Awutu Senya West are discerning and would not fall for such fallacies but rather vote for an MP with a great sense of humility and commitment for her constituents.

Hon. Gizella Tetteh-Agbotui, cherished by her constituents, was met with an enthusiastic reception from the crowd. The overwhelming praise and cheers from her supporters took the NPP presidential and parliamentary candidates by surprise. Their arrival was facilitated by over 10 Metro Mass buses of NPP supporters, inadvertently turning the traditional durbar into an NPP political rally.

Hon. Gizella Tetteh-Agbotui did not walk out on the vice president and chiefs at Awubia Durbar; the latter who appreciated her honesty, humility, integrity, and responsibility, as she had already requested to leave. The MP, together with other Chiefs who should have risen before 6 pm, left an NPP political rally ground as the program turned out to be and continued deep into the evening.

Hon. Gizella Tetteh-Agotui is focused on the fulfilment of her promises to her loving constituents, and she is hopeful the constituents will vote for the NDC presidential and parliamentary candidates in ASW in the December polls.
