The People’s National Convention (PNC) has unveiled Mrs. Joyclyn Akorfa Dotse-Ametsi, a 56-year-old entrepreneur, as the running mate to its flagbearer, Mr. Bernard Mornah, for the upcoming 2024 general elections.

Mrs. Dotse-Ametsi, who runs the African Hill Resort in Ho, Volta Region, was introduced at a ceremony following Mr. Mornah’s election as the party’s flagbearer. Speaking at the event, Mr. Mornah stated that his choice of running mate reflects the “wind of change” the PNC ticket is bringing to the political landscape.

In her acceptance speech, Mrs. Dotse-Ametsi expressed gratitude for the party’s support and pledged to use her platform in the hospitality industry to attract voters to the PNC. She emphasized that the party’s commitment to addressing national issues would resonate with Ghanaians and position the PNC as the next government.

“I am overwhelmed by the support from PNC members and excited to hit the ground running for the campaign,” she remarked. Mrs. Dotse-Ametsi also vowed to work tirelessly to ensure the party’s vision for a better Ghana becomes a reality.
