Yeji, Bono East Region.In a significant step towards the 2024 Presidential and Parliamentary elections, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Parliamentary Candidate for Pru East, Hon. Emmanuel Kwaku Boam, has successfully filed his nomination forms with the Electoral Commission (EC) in accordance with the constitution.
The filing of the nomination forms marked a crucial milestone in Hon. Boam’s journey to contest the Pru East parliamentary seat, which has been a stronghold of the NDC. The event was witnessed by party executives, supporters, and well-wishers, who gathered at the EC’s district office to show their solidarity.
Hon. Boam, accompanied by his team, arrived at the EC’s office in high spirits, eager to formalize his candidacy. The NDC PC was received by the EC’s district officer, who guided him through the nomination process.
After carefully reviewing the forms, Hon. Boam appended his signature, officially completing the nomination process. The EC’s district officer subsequently acknowledged receipt of the forms, paving the way for Hon. Boam’s participation in the upcoming parliamentary elections.
Hon. Boam after successfully submitting his forms addressed the EC. “We’re very glad this afternoon for your good service to our beloved country Ghana and the Good people of Pru East Constituency. We as a party thrilled for this elections as i describe it a crucial one for all of us, we have *identified some issues of irregularities with the VOTER REGISTER* and have petitioned you the EC to get them solved amicably. We trust your co-operation and want to assure you this is paramount to us as a party”
The NDC PC’s nomination has been hailed as a major boost to the party’s chances in the Pru East constituency. Hon. Boam’s popularity and reputation as a dedicated public servant and philanthropist have endeared him to the electorate, who are eager for a change in leadership at the presidency while committed to voting for Hon.
