Dr. Nathaniel Acolatse, a Deputy Chief Physician Assistant at Ga West Municipal Hospital, is challenging the Tema TDC Court to make public the court order his former wife, Maria Fianyo, claimed to have received. According to Maria, the judge at the Tema TDC Court instructed her to take custody of their children and warned her not to allow Dr. Acolatse any access to them. Dr. Acolatse questions the legitimacy of this order and dares the court to release the unedited Social Enquiry Report.

“I challenge the Tema TDC Court to make public the supposed court order Maria Fianyo claims to have received, instructing her to take the children and barring me from seeing them,” Dr. Acolatse stated. “I also demand that the court release the full, unedited Social Enquiry Report. The issue revolves around a decent apartment where my children were happily staying versus an uncompleted building where Maria was residing—a choice that the Tema TDC Court inexplicably preferred.”

Dr. Acolatse further called on the court to disclose the details of the hearing and the judgment, expressing suspicion that something might be hidden from him. He voiced frustration over the court’s silence, which he believes suggests a bias against men, particularly in cases presided over by female magistrates and judges. “Even without The Affirmative Action Bill, men are silently suffering. We endure more emotional and psychological pain than women, but because we are discouraged from expressing our emotions publicly, women in authority have taken advantage of this, sidelining men like me,” he remarked.

He also issued an ultimatum to the Fianyo Xine family of Dzodze Fiagbedu, demanding the return of his children by Wednesday, August 28, 2024, through Acropolis Maranatha Academy, the Amasaman High Court, or any police station of his choice. Failure to comply, he warned, would force him and his family to take matters into their own hands, as they believe the law is discriminatory and does not favor men.

Dr. Acolatse shared his belief that the judiciary must compel the Tema TDC Court to ensure justice. He also criticized the Fianyo Xine family, asserting that they would eventually face justice for their actions. Reflecting on his past, Dr. Acolatse recounted how Maria repeatedly left their matrimonial home, with her family showing little concern. He took sole care of their children after Maria abandoned them, even saving their youngest child’s life during a medical emergency.

Despite his efforts, Dr. Acolatse was ordered by the Tema TDC Court to hand over the children to Maria, citing a legal bias favoring mothers. Respecting the court’s decision, he complied, but he now questions the fairness of the ruling, especially considering Maria’s history of neglect. He described how Maria moved the children to various schools, eventually transferring them to Tinkabella International School, where they experienced significant absenteeism. Concerned about their education, Dr. Acolatse enrolled them in a boarding school at Acropolis Maranatha Academy.

Dr. Acolatse stopped making monthly payments to Maria after the children began boarding school, suspecting that the court and Maria were using the children to extort money from him. He believes they retaliated by defaming him, with the help of a false prophet, by spreading rumors that he was gay and would harm the children. On December 16, 2016, Cletus Fianyo and Maria removed the children from the boarding school without informing Dr. Acolatse, and since then, he has been denied access to them.

Dr. Acolatse accuses the Tema TDC Court, particularly certain female magistrates, of acting with a feminist bias, preventing justice from being served.
