The Member of Parliament for Awuku Senya West Constituency of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Hon. Gizella Tetteh-Agboutui has distributed 3600 mathematical sets to the 2024 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) candidates in Both Public and Private schools in the Area with a call to them to be dedicated to studies.

The stationery is to help the candidates sitting for this year’s BECE to write the exams successfully, adding that the gesture was to also augment parental support for candidates to write the exams with ease.

The beneficiaries were clothed with joy as they received the Mathematical sets.

Those who distributed the items on behalf of the MP were met with beaming smiles, warm hugs and heartfelt gratitude from the students.

This enthusiastic reception from the students demonstrate the transformative impact and positive externality of Hon. Gizella Tetteh-Abgotui’s leadership on the lives of her constituents.

This timely intervention further examplifies the good and humanitarian works of Hon. Gizella Tetteh-Abgotui other than pork barrel politics.

The exercise is done every year to help promote academic excellence in Awutu Senya West and also to ease the burden of parents.

This is not the only academic package provided by the MP to promote academic excellence. She has instituted scholarship packages for students in Awutu Senya West since her inception as MP for the constituency.

This calls for leaders to pursue the agenda of finding lasting solution to the problems facing their people, and serving them the best of their needs, rather than self-seeking interests.

The communication officer for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Constituency, Mr Cassius Otto labie noted that the intervention was timely, affirming that the MPs commitment towards improving education in the Constituency was commendable.
