A popular Jamaican Rage Artist and an African decent, Hmpress Sativa has stated that, she feels extremely happy and proud to visit Ghana for the first time.

Hmpress Sativa arrived in Ghana from Jamaica today at the Kotoka International Airport and was welcome by Celebrity Ghana, Traditional rulers, and the Rastafarian Society of Ghana.

This is the first time Hmpress Sativa, an international Rage artist is stepping her foot in the soil of Ghana.

In an interview, Hmpress Sativa indicated that as a Jamaican from African decent, it is important to come and see for her own eyes, the motherland of Ghana. “For me, it is an important journey and I think it should be also an important journey to any Diasporan, a Caribbean American, to come and make sure that they touch base to their motherland. So that is my motivation”.

She averred that, being in Ghana is not necessary about her music but, about her own personal journey that connects to her root to have more knowledge about Ghana and the Ghanaian people saying, Jamaicans are indeed from Ghana.

According to her, the little she has seen from her arrival is a clear indication that, Ghanaian people are lovely and helpful and that, she hope to visit many places in Ghana before going back.

Hmpress Sativa stressed her eagerness to see Rage music, striving in Ghana where people can listen to and get spiritual information adding that, Rage is Kings music that carried the message. “We need Rage music to go global”.

She therefore appealed to other Diasporan, to also come to their homeland Ghana in a spirit and with good intentions and be opened to experience Africa.
Hmpress Sativa said she looked forward to meet Rage Stars in Ghana saying, it is good to network and connect with Ghanaian Artists to see how best they can collaborate and push messages further and wider.

“I am open to any person who is doing spirit music and not necessary Rage music. I am eager to collaborate because, I am a Rage Rastafara person so for me, it is important to align myself with people who are doing good music and music that is able to educate the mind”.

Hempress Sativa is a multi-faceted young talent, propelling Jamaican Muzik into the future maintaining a strong foundation that makes her Muzik timeless.
