East Legon Welcomes Papaye Fast Foods Branch Number 10

The number one fast-food in Ghana, “Papaye Fast Foods Limited”, has opened its newest 10th branch at East Legon in the Greater Accra Region.

Papaye which has become a household name, already has branches in Osu, Tesano / Apenkwa, Spintex, Tema, Lapaz, Awudome, Haatso, Frafraha, and Weija.

Papaye Fast Food started from a tabletop operation with less than 10 workers, that housed the first branch. However, over 30 years, the company with a staff strength of over 600 is witnessing the TENTH branch at East Legon.

The Executive Chairman of Papaye Fast Food, Dr. Samir Kalmoni indicated that the company’s success has been made possible through the cooperation of governments, the media, consumers, customers, and the hardworking staff.

“As we embark on this exciting journey, our mission remains firm — to provide not only a delightful delicious meal experience but also to contribute positively to the community. We are committed to being responsible corporate citizens, supporting local initiatives, and fostering partnerships that benefit us all”.

He averred that Papaye per their policy, has employed about 60 percent of their workforce at the East Legon branch from the community, to help curb the issue of unemployment.

“I also personally want to take a moment to express our gratitude to our Chairman, Dr. Ernest Ofori Sarpong, who doubles as our landlord for his cooperation, and the incredible East Legon community leaders who have welcomed us with open arms. We wish to assure you, that we will continue to strive for excellence and exceed the expectations of our guests”.

In a welcome address, the Group CEO, Mr. Divine Kwadwo Aseidu expressed his deepest gratitude to the dedicated team led by Dr. Samir Kalmoni, the vision bearer, and the hardworking technical team led by Samer Kalmoni for making it possible to ensure the opening of East Lagoon branch. “Their hard work, creativity, and unwavering commitment have been the driving force behind the creation of this beautiful space”.

Papaye he stated, believes in the power of shared moments and the joy that comes from a delicious meal. “This branch is more than just a place to dine; it’s a space where friendships will be forged, families will come together, and celebrations will be embraced as we are committed to being more than just a restaurant”.
