Member of Parliament for Awutu Senya East Constituency, Hon. Mavis Hawa Koomson has said the vigour by delegates and party faithful is an indication that the party is ready for battle in the upcoming December elections.

At a mammoth street walk, thousands of party faithful joined in the walk with singing and dancing. The walk is part of activities geared up ahead of the party’s parliamentary primaries come January 27. Speaking after the walk, the MP expressed confidence of the party emerging victorious in both the presidential and parliamentary race come December 7. She said the general elections would not be a child’s play and she is of the view delegates would elect her as the parliamentary candidate come January 27.

She believes, her victory come January 27, would not be just a win but by popular acclamation.

She expressed appreciation to polling station executives, Electoral Area coordinators, constituency executives, council of elders and patrons for the massive support.

Acting Central Regional Chairman Mr Percy Quaicoe on his part said the NPP would defeat the NDC candidate again come December 7.
