First Sky Group To Build Churches in 50 Places

The First Sky Group as part of its rural area evangelism programme, intends to construct fifty (50) buildings for the work of God across the country. The two year initiative, is to help eliminating churches in classrooms and those under trees starting from the Ga rural areas.

This gesture to glorify God was revealed by the Chairman of the First Sky Group, Mr. Eric Seddy Kutortse during the Company’s 21st Annual Thanksgiving Service held in Accra at the International Conference Center.

The Thanksgiving with the theme “The Faithfulness of the LORD Never Ceases (Lamentation 3: 22-23) saw the gathering of Top level Management, staff and stakeholders of all establishment under the group.

He reaffirmed the group`s commitment made during the 2023 service to undertake the construction and completion of three (3) ultramodern church auditoriums in the Tema district, Volta and Ashanti Regions.

The year 2023 according Mr. Eric Kutortse, globally was not business friendly as some businesses even collapsed whilst others saw very minimal growth; but for the mercies of God, First Sky businesses were sustained and even saw marginal growth which is a clear indication that God have indeed be faithful to them.

“One would observe that for us at the First Sky Group, the critical ingredient responsible for our existence and growth has been the abundant GRACE and LOVE of God functioning in us to break new grounds, turning fallow fields into profitable experiences and lead the corporate entrepreneurial narrative in job and wealth creation through employment, innovative solutions and hard work”.

He pointed out that, the desire and commitment to help Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital establish a kidney transplant centre is still on course saying, a joint working committee from the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital and the First Sky Group has been working tirelessly to see to the take — off and completion of the project by the end of 2024.

The past four years Mr. Eric Seddy Kutortse mentioned, has seen the Group hammering on a central refrain — grace, favour, faithfulness and abundance – during the thanksgiving services.

The vision of First Sky Group Mr. Kutortse indicated, is to create job opportunities that motivate people to especially the youth to know Christ.

Again, the vision is to create wealth to support God’s Kingdom Business, and men of God, bring relief to humanity, the poor and needy whilst ensure the well-being of management, staff and families of First Sky Group. “These, we have upheld religiously over the years and we do not intend to renege on this commitment”.


He hinted that to date, their support for free dialysis for more than 300 patients, since they took on that responsibility in 2016 is estimated to cost more than Thirty-Two Million Ghana cedis (GHC 32m) and will continue to be our priority until the terminal solution is completed,
