The Minister for Energy Hon. Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh has stated that,  leadership must be anchored on the key pillars of Service, Sacrifice and Altruism and
encourage young leaders to see their current stage of leadership as a unique learning curve which must be utilised fully.

Hon. Opoku Prempeh made this statement when he engaged with students of the University of Ghana,Under the auspices, of the UGSRC Women’s Commission’s “Leadership Seminar 101”,

speaking on the theme “Inspiring the Next Generation of Leaders”, the Energy Minister indicated that, given the leaders of tomorrow must be handed down a set of values and principles that would ensure that, they become the true leaders of character we need.

” it is refreshing to note that, impactful leadership continues to occupy germane spots of youth leaders’ mindset”.

He  indicated that, as a leader, his biggest fulfilment is when he has been able to contribute to solving complex challenges which put smiles on faces.

“Given the circumstances of the world today, I am of the firm belief that, the leaders of tomorrow must be handed down a set of values and principles that would ensure that, they become the true leaders of character we need”.

Hon. Matthew Opoku Prempeh reiterates his confidence in the future of the Ghanaian youth and their ability to do exploits.
