The National Youth Organizer for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Mr. Salam Mustapha has stated that, the party’s victory in the 2024 general election lies with the youth, According to him the youth hold the trump card and therefore encouraged then to step up and lead the party to achieve victory in the 2024 general election.

Mr. Mustapha made this known when speaking at a National Youth Wing Mentorship Forum held in Accra.

The NPP party Mr. Salam mentioned, is able to use the youth effectively under the Fourth Republic to achieve results adding that, they can easy break the 8 only when all the youth are brought on board as a united body with a common objective.

He however, tasked all the youth to be highly innovative to win more souls into the party to be able to break the 8 in the 2024 general election.

According to him, with a strong united youth wing, they can reach out to more young people to come and join the party to ensure a successful victory in the 2o24 general election.

Mr. Salam Mustapha further tasked the youth wing to serve as ambassadors to the party by spreading its good messages across the country.

The National Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Mr. Stephen Ntim in his submission during the Mentorship Forum said, everything begins and ended with leadership hence, the party’s commitment in investing in the youth.

The NPP he stated recognized that, young people represent the party’s future and therefore would do everything possible to invest in them.

Chairman Ntim revealed that over the years, young people in the party has played critical role in moving the party forward mentioning names like Mr. Sammi Awuku, Nana B, Anthony Karbon, etc. “Young people are the future of the party”.

The NPP he averred, remained committed in grooming the young people to take over from the adults hence, preparation to establish party school and encouraged the youth to take advantage of it when all is set.

The Chief Executive Officer for National Lottery Authority, Mr. Sammi Awuku on his presentation on Political Communication hinted that, no political party can stand without effective communication.

He therefore indicated that TESCON, should be an avenue for recruiting communicators since they can explained better to the understanding of the party’s policies and programmes to the people.

“Nobody can communicated the party’s messages better than TESCOM. NPP’S bigger challenge is effective communication of the good works of both the party and the government”.

He charged the party’s communicators to always first admit that things are hard for the people before, explaining the causes and measures government has put in place to solve the problem.

Politics according to Mr. Awuku, is about numbers and entreated communicators to be careful in the kind of language used to communicate to people especially, using words that can push people to join the party saying, NPP cannot failed in 2024.

He disclosed that when NDC gives you a bottle of water to drink, they would always remind you for saving your life with the water adding that, it is the reason why some people have been voting in one direction.
