Information hitting GHnews heralds that the Political desk of the chief of staff will, from henceforth, pay 20,000 cedis as an appearance fee to any Member of Parliament or Government official who endorses and follows Dr Bawumia around.

Frank Bekoe, commonly referred to as Protozoa, allegedly has been tasked to coordinate the “operation twist” to ensure that MPs and Ministers are whipped in line.

Critics allege that this will manifest itself in the attendance of MPs at the funeral of Lewura Alhaji MND Jawula, a prominent Northern Chief, coming up.

This comes when many political commentators, analysts and academia have questioned the credibility and integrity of Vice President Alhaji Bawumia.

After his failures to fulfil his many promises, Alhaji Bawumia has been calmed into an unusual silence. This situation has led many media personalities to question the loud silence of the Veep.

Winston Amoah of Joy Fm fame, for instance, questioned the position of Alhaji Bawumia on the Government Debt Exchange program. According to the ace journalist, the silence of the Veep leaves much to be desired.
