The leadership of the Welfare Directorate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) continued with their visits to former party stalwarts. Under the leadership of Hon. Vida Addae and Mr. William Atamudzi,the team visited Dr. Obed Yao Asamoah, Dr. Tony Aidoo and Hon. Margaret Chiravira.
This purposeful visit served a dual role, encompassing inquiries into the health of these revered figures, seeking their sagacious counsel, and formally introducing themselves as leaders of the newly created Directorate. Recognizing the invaluable wealth of knowledge and experience held by Dr. Obed Asamoah and Dr. Tony Aidoo as well as Hon. Margaret Chiravira, the Directorate aimed to engage their expertise in steering the affairs of the Directorate.
During deliberations, the team reteirates the party’s commitment to engage in a fruitful discussion to address the welfare needs of party comrades and extending support to those who have dedicated themselves in service to the NDC.
Dr. Obed Asamoah, Dr. Tony Aidoo and Hon.Hon. Margaret Chiravira expressed their gratitude for the visit and commend the National Executive Committee for establishing such a vital Directorate dedicated to the welfare of members.
Emphasizing the importance of unity, the stalwarts encouraged the Directorate to reach out extensively to comrades, assuring them of the party’s commitment to inclusivity and readiness for victory.
They passionately charged them not to only address immediate welfare concerns but also fervently work towards the re-election of His Excellency John Dramani Mahama
Hon. Benita Sena Okity-Duah and other party members present, underscored the collective effort towards the party’s success.
