Over the weekend, the esteemed Hon. Julius Debrah graced the Akwamu people’s celebration of Akwasidae Kese in a display of unity and charisma that left a lasting impression on attendees. The Akwasidae festival, celebrated at the close of every traditional calendar month among the Akans, serves as a moment for families to come together, reflect on past events, and chart a collective path forward. This year’s event, held at the Bogyawe palace, was particularly exceptional, graced by the presence of Akwamuhene, Odeneho Kwafo Akoto III.
Before the public festivities commenced, Julius Debrah, the former Chief of Staff to ex-President John Dramani Mahama, held a private meeting with Akwamuhene, demonstrating the significance of his visit.
