Hon. Phyllis Naa Koryoo, the incoming member of parliament for Awutu Senya East Constituency on the ticket of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), along with the constituency executives and well-wishers, gathered for two special thanksgiving services on June 2nd and June 4th, 2023. These services were held to express gratitude for a successful journey through the recent primaries and to seek prayers and guidance for the upcoming 2024 elections.
The first thanksgiving service took place at the Walantu Central Mosque on Friday, June 2nd, 2023. Hon. Phyllis Naa Koryoo, affectionately known as “The Hope Of Asec,” offered prayers of thanks to Allah for the support received during the primaries. The event was attended by constituency executives, party members, and enthusiastic supporters.
During the service, Hon. Phyllis Naa Koryoo expressed her gratitude to the constituents for their unwavering support and promised to work diligently to address their concerns and bring about positive change in the constituency. She called on everyone to join her in praying for a successful campaign leading up to the 2024 elections.
On Sunday, June 4th, 2023, Hon. Phyllis Naa Koryoo continued her thanksgiving tour by attending a special service at the Global Evangelical Church. The theme of the occasion was “I Cannot Be Denied My Father’s Blessings.” The church was filled with jubilant supporters and well-wishers, all eager to witness this momentous occasion.
During the service, Hon. Phyllis Naa Koryoo acknowledged the peaceful and successful primaries that led to her becoming the parliamentary candidate for the Awutu Senya East Constituency. She attributed her success to the grace of God and the unwavering support of the constituency executives, party members, and the community at large.
The parliamentary candidate expressed her determination to work tirelessly in fulfilling her promises to the constituents. She emphasized her commitment to ensuring development, progress, and improved living conditions for the people of ASEC. Hon.
