The National Overseer of the Deeper Christian Life Ministry Ghana, Pastor Edward K. Duodu has stated that, telling the truth today and standing by it, makes you strange to many added that, being honest draws curious stares and hating compromise is an attitude that many consider an affront to modern civilization.
According to Pastor Duodu, the world is gradually being run over by the enticement sin presents, making it easy to be accepted even when you’re dishonest, care-free and men-pleasing.
He made this statement during the official media launch of GCK-GHANA event to be held from 20th to 25th April 2023 at the Independence square at 4pm daily.
Pastor Duodu averred that, the time has come far the body of Christ to forget about united fight against the kingdom of darkness in a bid to rescue the perishing.
He disclosed that, a special programme called LUNCH TIME WITH JESUS’S, would engaged new converts in the afternoons of the Crusade days with mature Christian leaders and counsellors who would mentor them to find their feet in the faith.
“This discipleship engagement will continue even beyond the crusade to ensure that the fruits of this important event are preserved, nurtured and prepared for heaven. Every effort and resource will be marshalled to ensure that the fruits of this great event abide and stay ready for the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ”.
He therefore, appealed to Ministers of the gospel to make time for GCK-GHANA event and come with a heart full of expectation as, God would be a reason for them to testify.
On his part, the Special Guest of honour, Most Rev. Dr. Paul K. Boafo said, it is now time for Christians to come together as one body and put aside all the denominational differences and pray to God.
