_*We acknowledge the directives and the new development contained in the press release by the General Secretary of National Democratic Congress (NDC) on 21st February, 2023, which stipulated as follow:*_
_1.”That the Functional Executive Committee (FEC) of the party has however put the opening of nominations for parliamentary primaries in some constituencies on hold.” Which has duly affected Tarkwa-Nsuaem Constituency, TNC._
_2. “That the Functional Executive Committee will in due course announce the date for the opening of nominations in the above Constituencies”. Which TNC is part._
_Notwithstanding, in consistent with the decision of FEC for opening of online nominations for TNC and other, leadership of team Prof. George Agyei wishes to admonish the teeming supporters, sympathizers and the entire party members to remain calm and be on guard as we await for the new schedules for TNC and other parliamentary Primaries._
_As a team, we wish to emphatically state without an iota of a contradiction, that our fidelity surrender to only the dictates of the party’s constitution and not to the whims and caprices of anyone._
_Again, we believe in appropriate laid down democratic procedures enshrined in the supreme laws of our great party for electing parliamentary candidate and nothing else._
_In conclusion, we therefore, have an utmost trust and confidence in the rank and file of our party; from Constituency level to national Secretariat that they would ensure strict enforcement of Article 41of the party’s constitution and the subsequent guidelines set-out by FEC for the forthcoming parliamentary Primaries._
